Shoot Your Problems Away

Shoot Your Problems Away was the result of the combined effort of myself and my colleague Kade Richards during the April 2022 AIE Gamejam. The Gamejams theme was 'Wellbeing', and we decided on a top down shooter where players have to perform acts to maintain their life. From financial to educational, there are up to 4 minigames that the player has to interact with, while handling multiple enemy robots that represent the internet, trying to lower your wellbeing.
For this project, I was the main programmer and level designer. I was responsible for the player movement, shooting, AI behavior and spawning, and all 4 'Minigames' present in each section of the map.
